Transmittal of Unclaimed Funds

In chapters 7, 11 under Subchapter V, 12, or 13 the trustee:

must stop payment on any check remaining unpaid, and any remaining property of the estate must be paid into the court, within 90 days after the final distribution. See 11 U.S.C. § 347(a)
The trustee must file a list (the "List of Unclaimed Funds") of the names and addresses of the entities and the amounts which they are entitled to be paid from the remaining property of the estate that is paid into the court. See Fed. R. Bankr. P. 3011
The trustee should use the below docket event to file a List of Unclaimed Funds without transmitting the funds through the ECF system (Pay.Gov). To file a List of Unclaimed Funds and transmit the funds through Pay.Gov, see Transmittal/Payment of Unclaimed Funds.

Docket Event:

[Bankruptcy > Trustee/US Trustee > Transmittal of Unclaimed Funds]

The filer must enter the:

total amount to be paid to the court
name of each entity entitled to the funds (use a comma to separate multiple entities)
