A motion is required when the debtor is pro se* in negotiating the reaffirmation agreement, except when the debt is a consumer (personal) debt secured by real property.

  • The filer should file the motion and agreement as separate documents. See Reaffirmation Agreement
  • The pending motion delays entry of the discharge.

*The debtor's attorney does not sign the reaffirmation agreement.
