Request for Certified Copy

A registered ECF user should electronically file a certification request in the related case and pay the required fee via Pay.Gov. Any person may come to the clerk's office and verbally request a certified copy.

The written request must provide the following:

  • document title, 
  • docket entry number, and
  • number of certified copies.

Note: Unless the written request provides a different mailing address, the clerk will mail the certified document to the requestor's mailing address associated with their CM/ECF user account.

Requirements:

Written Request providing the title of the paper/document, docket entry number, and the number of certified copies.

Certification Fee **(the number of certifications determines the fee)

 

Docket Events:

[Bankruptcy > Other > Request for Certified Copy]

[Adversary > Other > Request for Certified Copy]

[Claim Actions > Request for Certified Copy]

 

On the below screen, the filer must:

  1. Leave the receipt field blank
  2. Enter the total amount due for the number of requested copies in the fee field.
