Rev. 02/08/2024
A party may file an Exemplification Request when a state or local authority requires an Exemplification Certificate to enroll a judgment in their court. An Exemplification is a certificate attesting that a document is a true record of the court and it provides the Chief Judge's certification of the clerk's status and the Clerk's certification of judge's status. An Apostille certifies documents for use in other countries. The district court clerk issues Apostilles. |
