Rev. 02/06/2024
Miss. Bankr. L.R. 2003-1(a)(2)
When a party seeks to reschedule the meeting of creditors ("341 Meeting") before the trustee holds the 341 meeting, the party must first send a written request to the standing trustee for a chapter 13 case and to the United States Trustee (UST) for cases under chapters 7 and 11. See Request to Reschedule 341 Meeting. Only after the trustee or UST denies the request may a party file a motion and proposed order with the court. Also, see Motion to Continue Meeting of Creditors. |
