To receive a discharge in a Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 case, all individual debtors must complete a course in personal financial management after filing bankruptcy, subject to certain exceptions. In some cases, the court can waive the financial management course requirement. To have the requirement waived, the debtor must file a motion with the court and obtain a court order. |
