Application to Pay Filing Fee in Installments

Individual debtors can ask the court to pay the filing fee in installments. File Official Form 103 Application for Individuals to Pay the Filing Fee in Installments ("Application") with their voluntary petition.

If the debtor has an attorney, they must file local form MSSB-LR-1006-1 Disclosure of Pre-Petition Fees Paid by Debtor to Debtor's Counsel to disclose their fees. Click here for more information.

Notes:

Debtor mus check the box on the voluntary petition showing the debtor will pay the filing fee in installments. (See Part 2 #8 on page 3.)
The debtor can pay up to 4 installments, with the last payment due no later than 120 days from the date the case was filed.
