Motion to Extend Deadline To File Schedules

Miss. Bankr. L.R. 1007-1(c)

The debtor must file a motion requesting an extension of time to file the schedules and statements on or before the initial 14-day deadline expires.

The motion must demonstrate good cause and provide a specific deadline (date) for filing the documents.

As a general rule, the Court will grant one 14-day extension. Additional requests may be denied by the Court without a hearing. See Local Rule 1007-1(c).
